Why Burrowing Owl? Every morning, on the drive to school, we pass a fence post where a burrowing owl keeps watch. When we decided to open a bookstore, that little owl felt like a sign. Owls are symbols of wisdom – and what better way to share wisdom than through books? We wanted a name that reflects the character of our community and the joy of reading.
